On Meeting C Jane

Saturday afternoon I took my husbund and children and attended the book signing that was a fundraiser for NieNie. (see neineidialogues.blogspot.com) I met her sister Courtney Kendrick. (blog.seejanerun.com) What a special afternoon. My daughter E and I went through the signing line and visited. E thought the fact we won the raffle at the event and got a Rhodes Dough Cookbook and bread pans made it even more memorable.

It was really touching to write a love note to NieNie and attach it into the mouth of a small origami bird. They are making a chain of the birds to hang in her hospital room.

Our love and prayers are with Nienie, Mr. Nielson, and their family.
